BURDUF CHEESE FRITTERS
Delicious and simple cheese fritters made from creamy burduf cheese, egg, and a light flour batter. Crispy on the outside and soft inside, these bite-sized fritters are perfect served hot as a snack or appetizer.

Ingredients
- 200 g burduf cheese
- 1 egg
- 3 heaping tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Β½ tsp baking powder
- Plenty of oil for deep frying
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and knead until you obtain a smooth, homogeneous dough.
- Shape the dough into walnut-sized balls.
- Heat plenty of oil in a deep frying pan. Fry the balls until golden on all sides and floating in the oil.
- Remove fritters and drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- Serve immediately hot. They are tasty even cold, but best enjoyed warm.
